Seafood Paella

Seafood Paella


Serves -6 people

Prep time - 10 minutes

Cooking time - 40 minutes


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 2 garlic clothes, finely chopped
  • 50ml white wine
  • 120g sliced chorizo
  • 2tsp paprika
  • 1tsp saffron
  • 450g paella rice
  • 1 1/2 litre fish or chicken stock
  • 200g king prawns
  • 200g Calamari 

Equipement needed


  1. Start your fire bowl. You can start cooking once the wood starts to turn white. 
  2. Heat the oil in the Kadai Paella pan and cook the onion until soft and golden over the fire bowl.
  3. Add the chorizo and cook for a few minutes 
  4. Stir in the wine, paprika, saffron, garlic and rice. Keep sttiring until the alcohol is cooked off. 
  5. Pour the stock and bring to a boil. You can use a lid if you wish.
  6. Simmer for 15-20minutes until all the stock has nearly been absorbed.
  7. Add the seafood and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  8. Cover the pan in foil/with a lid and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  9. Take the pan off the grill and serve with a lemon wedge.
